2011 June 30 “2011 R & D 100 Awards Announced” In the Imaging Technologies Category: Bartron Medical Imaging’s MED-SEG product using NASA/GSFC Recursive Hierarchical Segmentation Software. Fitz Walker attended the award ceremony held in Orlando, FL October 13, 2011. The award is given to one of the 100 most innovative technologies, having ‘technological significance.’

Fitz Walker and Grace Schaefer were invited to speak at the 62nd International Astronautical Congress, Cape Town, South Africa, October 2011, to present their manuscript “The Effect of Visualization Tools in Commercial Markets.”
